If you read the detail in my post it explains why these split pipes will fail.....3" pipes are a completely different story. 2.5" test pipes will also last just fine because the tempertures are much less at that point. The problem is building the small pipes on the splits incorectly. The price difference is easy .....A few american workers are trying to make a living making an exellent product................. An american machinest makes a living ,An american tubing manufaturer makes a living , An american exhaust fabricator employee makes a living, an american fabrication shop owner makes a living, An american designer/distributer makes a living, and dealers are trying to make a living. It is hard to be loyal to all who make a product like this happen and make it cheap.
RVM just made poorly engineered cheap copies out of the country in mass quanties.....
